Whats up with the release schedule, we are waiting those bugs are getting fixed...
or release a milestone version.
or a bugfix only release...
but please do something...

Relax, I just ported the Quake4 style entity synchronisation back to Doom3, which took some time, because of a bug in Id's code. The new code will improve the performance, since fewer data has to be sent. Those things are difficult to tackle, since you really have to understand how the networksynchronisation works.
The next thing on the TODO list is the new gamemode, which will take some time as well.
Those changes which have been made for the next OpenCoop version are mostly internal updates and will help improving the overall performance. |
