Hi,

there is an article on shacknews which confirms that rage will have 2 player coop. http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/53996

However they won't support the singleplayer levels, but provide some extra coop levels.

this maybe good news. But we want OPEN COOP not rage OPEN COOP!!! Wee btw I might get garrys mod cha ching.

it's not sp co-op, I've read somewhere that there will be co-op but not for the storyline.

I believe it'll help mod developers because there will already be working netcode for monsters.

Well I think it's really complicated to implement coop for a todays game afterwards. Just take a look at Quake4. This game has so many scripts. It's just unpossible to fix it all up. Doom3 was already challenging and I am still impressed how much work Klonsemann has put into fixing up all those single player levels.

That's why a bigger team would be needed if you plan to do something like that. If you can find people that know what they're doing that is...

More horrorgames should have coop. That makes them a lot more playable Wink
